Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Contract

Schedule: 40 Hours/Week | Variable Day Shift with Call

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Bozeman, Montana. This role is ideal for a skilled OR nurse who thrives in a dynamic surgical environment and values both professional growth and outdoor adventure.
The OR RN will provide perioperative nursing care across a variety of surgical procedures, supporting a Level III Trauma Program with a strong emphasis on teamwork, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in accordance with hospital and surgical standards
- Serve as a Circulating RN; Scrub experience preferred
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, and supplies
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and ensure sterile technique
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff
- Participate in on-call rotation and variable day shifts as scheduled
- Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
- BLS certification (additional certifications may be required by facility)
- Ability to work variable day shifts and take call
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Circulating and Scrub experience
- Previous trauma or contract experience
